Drive More Free Targeted Traffic to Your Site and Business Through Google Base
Google is improving like crazy. You can hardly find a day that comes and goes and Google doesn’t launch a new product or service in it. Google Base is one of the Google’s new services that can drive a lot of free traffic to your website, online or offline business.
Google Base allows webmasters, business owners, suppliers and anybody who has a product or service to upload the related database directly to Google and make it available to the searchers. You can upload everything from the list of your products, available jobs in your company, cars, houses and apartments that you want to sell to events and activities, hotels, recopies, jewelries, video games, pets and … .
The database can be an XML spreadsheet. You can simply login to the Google Base and submit the whole list or the individual products one by one. You can submit all the related information like price, location of the delivery, expiration time and … and also you can attach up to fifteen JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIF, and BMP files. You can also upload several other kinds of files like PDF, .doc, .ppt , .xls, txt, .html, .rtf, ASCII, Unicode, XML, and .wpd. It is amazing, isn’t it?
You can link to your website but it is not necessary to have a website. Google can host all your information. However it is recommended to have a website if you have a product or service to sell.
After submission, the data will be kept in the Google main index and also the Froogle. So you can easily be found from any where over the Google immense network.
For taking the maximum advantage of Google base, it is recommended to have downloadable e-books, videos, audios, articles, pictures and … for your product/service. The more information and details you give, the more searchers will find you and your product and the more orders you will receive.
Although it is recommended to have a website but if you have a local business and you need people to find you, you can use Google Base. In one of my other articles, I explained how you can use the Google Local and drive free traffic to your local business. Google Base and Google Local can work for both offline and online businesses.
Although Google Base is a new service and it still in beta test but “Early Bird Catches the Worm”. So try to be among the first who use it and be ahead of your competitors. Google Base like many other Google services will become popular very fast and so those who start using it sooner than the others will take more advantage of it.
