Tens of Different Ways to Make Money from Home and through the Internet and Your Personal Computer

Everybody knows that it is possible to make money from home and through the Internet but the questions is “how?”. When people want to start working from home, they Google for a good home based business opportunity but unfortunately, 95% of the programs they join are scam and they only lose money with them.

Do you really have to join a home based business program to start working from home? No, you don’t!

In this article I am trying to show you how to start a part time or full time home based business without joining any program that can be illegal, illegitimate and scam.

What do you need to start a home based business?

1- A computer and access to the Internet and also a small room is the only thing you need. Nowadays it is not too hard to provide these simple things.
2- Basic knowledge about computer and Internet. You don’t have to be a computer expert, programmer or engineer to start working with the computer and internet. You just need to know how the basic softwares like Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, some of the Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel and Outlook work. You also need to know the Internet basics like sending and receiving email, searching in search engines like Google and finding the related information about anything that you need.

3- If you know how to register a domain and design a simple website, it will be good but it is not necessary. A website is a very useful and effective tool for an online home business but if you know nothing about having a website, don’t worry. You can still work from home online and make money but it is recommended to learn how to register a domain, buy a host and design a simple HTML website at the earliest convenience. You will need it.

4- If you know how to write articles and reviews about different topics or products and services, it will be another good help. Article marketing is one of the effective tools that can send traffic to your website or affiliate links for free. You can write articles about different topics and post them in article directories and have you email, phone number, website URL or affiliate links at the bottom. People who read your articles will visit your website or affiliate entry page or will contact you and ask for your service. I personally have found and ordered many products through the articles that I find and read in article directories.

5- Different methods of Internet marketing and advertising like Pay Per Click search engines, viral marketing and … . If you want to work online through promoting products and services, you need to know how to advertise and drive traffic to your website or affiliate links. There are several free resources to learn about these techniques. In this weblog, I talk about all the internet marketing methods and techniques. You just need to click on different categories and read the articles.

Ok! Let’s say you are ready to start working from home online. What should you do now?

There are several things that you can do from home. Many of them are really easy to start and you will not need to learn anything more but some of them need to learn some new things that will not be that hard.

1- Sell ClickBank products: ClickBank is almost the most famous affiliate program for digital products. There are also some other programs like Amazon, LinkShare and CJ (Commission Junction) that are very famous and reliable and free to join and promote. They have no membership fee and this is one of the signs of a legitimate and reliable program.

ClickBank has the highest conversion rate and commission payment among others. You just need to find the best and most popular products and promote them through Pay Per Click advertising and other kinds of online advertising methods. I will focus on this more in future. Stay tuned.

2- Run a weblog: If you are able to write about different topics, you can use this ability to make money. It is free to start a weblog. You can start a free weblog at www.blogger.com and start blogging. It is very easy and you will not have to do anything but writing articles. You can monetize your weblog with Google Adsense and ClickBank and Amazon products and make money.

You need to keep your weblog updated with fresh articles at least a few times per week. You will learn how to attract more readers for your blog and you need to search for related articles and learn and become a professional blogger step by step. If you are serious to become a professional blogger, it is highly recommended to run your blog under your own domain name.

3- Stock Exchange and Forex: Stock market and Forex are two businesses that many people have been able to make a life through them. Although risky, if you learn them properly, you will become able to make lots of money. Something that I recommend is that do not sign up for expensive seminars and training courses. Everything you need to know, can be easily found on the Internet for free and all the trades and exchanges can also be done through the Internet and your personal computer. 4- eBay: There is no one who have not heard about eBay and its power. I know a guy who makes up to $100,000 per year just by selling antique violins through eBay. This reasonable income comes from selling only four violins per months and nothing more. He finds the antique violins from the antiques malls and garage sales. It is very easy. You just need to want.

5- Accounting: You are not an accountant. I know. But you can be an accountant very easily. I am not talking about professional accounting and financial management for central banks. You can become a simple accountant and focus on income tax affairs. People have to pay their income tax every year and if you learn how to calculate their income tax and fill the related forms, it will be a good source of income for you.

The good news is that in most countries, revenue and tax organizations publish a tax software every year which can be bought and used to fill the tax forms. Also, the income tax training courses that are not longer than one to two weeks are enough to learn everything you need to know. When the tax season comes, you can advertise online, in local magazines and newspapers and distribute flyers in the area you live and make a few thousands of dollars.

Some other good opportunities to make some more money:

1- Online paid survey programs: If you are a person who want to make some extra a few hundreds of dollars per year or even per month - if lucky - , online paid survey programs are right for you. Of course in this case you have to join the online paid survey programs and unfortunately there are a lot of scams among them. So you have to be careful and not to spend any money to buy a database of these programs. Also those programs that demand for membership fees are not reliable and you have to avoid them.

2- Get paid to drive programs: If you drive at least a few hundreds of kilometers every week, you can ask one of the get paid to drive companies to wrap up your car with the ads and pay you some money for it. They do it for free and the ads can be removed easily and without making any damages to your car. They pay you up to $1000 per month for it. Even some of them give a wrapped up brand new car for free to those who are eligible.

So if you drive a long way because of your job, why not you make some money through it?

3- Medical transcription: This is another thing that you can do easily from home and with your computer and internet. Of course you need to be trained and pass some training course but they are so easy and there are online colleges that you can sign up for the course through them.

4- Become a writer: Information is what people pay lots of money for it. Are you expert in something? Are you a good cook for example? Are you good in making small hand-crafts, candles, wooden baskets and …? Why don’t you write a book or an e-book about it? Take a look at the ClickBank marketplace and see how people make money through selling their knowledge and sharing their experiences.

5- Publish a local weekly or monthly magazine: Most of the famous magazines are started from basements. Think about it. I am sure it is possible to do it with the help of some of your friends and family members.
