Where Does God Live? In a Palace?!
Please Bookmark: |
We heard from our parents and teachers that God is anywhere and can be worshiped at any time. He doesn’t have any special place. He has no limit. This is also what all the religions say from thousands of years ago. All of those who believe in God, believe that he is limitless and he is anywhere anytime.
But people were used to built some special places for the public religion ceremonies which was a good idea because people could get together in these places at some special times, see each other, pray with each other, hear the important news and announcements and then get back to work.
Simplicity was one of the most important features of these places specially in Islam. The first mosque built by the Islam Holy Messenger was made up of simple materials like wood, leaf, sun-dried brick and … . I am sure the first Church, Synagogue or any temple related to any kind of religion was so simple too.
This simplicity was not just because they didn’t have enough money to build gorgeous temples. Simplicity was a rule that had to be considered because people had to learn and keep in their mind that God is accessible anywhere and everybody even the poorest, could talk to God and everybody is the same before him. It makes sense, doesn’t it?
But it was just the beginning. After a while, people forgot about the simplicity rule. Instead of helping poor people, they spent more money to build splendid marvelous churches, mosques and … . In the same city or country that such temples are built, thousands of people have no food and shelter.
Where are we going?
Just spend five minutes and see the below pictures. I don’t care who has built this huge mosque and in which country it is built. The only thing that I care is that this is a building that God should be worshiped inside it. They say mosque is the house of God. It means if you have something to say to God or you have any problem that you need God to resolve for you, you can go to the mosque and pray and God will listen to you.
This is true. Mosques and all other kinds of temples are holy places but do they really have to be like this? Do we have to spend billions of dollars to build a house for God? He will not listen to us if we call and worship him in a simpler place? He really needs us to worship him from a PALACE???
A mosque in Abu Dubai (UAE):
- Covers an area of 22,000 m2
- 33,000 tons of steel
- 120,000 m3 of concrete
- 7000 foundation Piles

Now look at these pictures:

Ok Billionaires!
Go and build bigger temples and mosques and keep on worshiping the God.
Who cares about those who should die from hunger?
Let them die!
They don’t have money so they have to die.
They have not been smart enough to suck the blood of the earth and sell it for $100 per barrel to USA.
They don’t have big and gorgeous temples for worshiping the God and asking him to give them some food but you have such temples and you can ask God to give you more money over and over …
Hope you open your eyes before it becomes too late.

Hi,
That’s true, Islam should be transmitted as a religion of simplicity and not a luxury religion. Everyday we know that many people is dying, not because of their age but because they were unnourished. Although we should not put the guilty in Allah, we should put that guiltiness in ourselves, in the human being, because at the end Allah was testing those rich people who build gold masjids, and Allah will give the Jannat to that poor people who don’t have nothing to eat.
“He knows who He is, He knows what to do”
This is happening in a country where the foreign labourer is not paid in time, and when paid, is not paid in full. Who built these grand structures, the poor folks from third world countries, and what do they get in return, disgrace, humiliation and subhuman living conditions. Allah is the most Just. HE will not reward muslims in proportion to how much they spent on building gigantic masajids, but HE will SURELY Judge us according to how much we were willing to help the unfortunate ones amongst us. Oh ALLAH show us the Right Path…………
